The CLImate VARiability
and Predictability (CLIVAR) Program
Data Assembly Center (DAC) for SADCP is
co-located at the
Japan Oceanographic Data Center (JODC) and
the
Joint Archive for Shipboard ADCP (JASADCP),
a collaboration between the
E.Firing Laboratory at the University of Hawaii (UH) and
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
National Coastal Data Development
Data Center (NCDDC). The oceanographic component of the
CLIVAR program has adopted many of the DACs that ended with
World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) in 2002
and will continue much of the WOCE cruise line network, data standards,
and management framework. The WOCE and CLIVAR cruises will be
combined in the CLIVAR dataset to provide a longer observational period
from which lower frequency signals may be studied.
As of 2019,
Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic
Investigations Program (GO-SHIP) cruises are merged with the historic
WOCE/CLIVAR inventory for shipboard ADCP.
The following cruise lists are derived from the
CCDHO or from
Addendum of the CLIVAR SSG-11 (May 2002). Chief Scientists and ADCP PIs
are encouraged to provide information/data to keep this
tracking table up to date.
