The unique JASADCP data set is defined by the sonar and cruise. A given
cruise could have multiple sonars of varying depth penetration
versus resolution characteristics. The unique set is given an ID,
called the "SAC_ID". Note in the "cruise" metadata within the
SAC_ID summary file, the type of sonar is appended to the cruise ID.
If no sonar is given in the cruise metadata, then the default is the
NB150, which historically was the most common instrument.
Anoymous downloads from these tables are made one sonar-cruise set at a time. Requests are accepted for larger batches to facilitate access.
