Comment : A reference level shift on 31 Dec 1994 is under investigation. The data are temporarily withheld. Otherwise, the daily and monthly values do not show any obvious shifts or trends. The residuals show high frequency noise likely from seiching. The signature of the 28 Feb 2010 tsunami from Chile is evident. The data are relative sea level. The Kaikoura earthquake of 13 Nov 2016 resulted in the local land sinking by 0.030 m, giving a relative sea level rise of 0.030 m.
