Trans. : No Distribution : 1955-1967 Refernce Levl: The data have been linked to tide staff zero by the contributors. Information on geodetic surveys of benchmarks can be obtained from the originators. The hourly data were key entered at the Univ. of Hawaii. Tide staff readings were provided and analysed, but no corrections were applied except for subtracting 5.0 feet off the April 1965 - November 1967 hourly values. It appears that the paper tables of hourly values had received the adjustments from the tide staff readings. In comparison with holdings of the PSMSL, 1957- 1958 differ by an inch and June and August 1961 differ by about two inches. Otherwise the series agree well, except the PSMSL series does not have data gaps. Comment : Lots of week-long data gaps due to lost paper tables. The timing of the instrument is good. Difference of monthly means with Puerto Cortes shows reasonable agreement.
