Trans. : No Distribution : 1970-1981 Refernce Levl: The data have been linked to tide staff zero by the contributors. However, further analysis of the data and comparative readings of the tide staff have led to adjustments of the reference level in separate segments. All suspected shifts showed step function jumps in the plots of hourly residuals and daily values. These adjustments contain uncertainty to a few centimeters. period value added ( (hour)day/month/year ) to original(mm) --------------------------- --------------- (01)27/04/70 - (23)02/05/70 140 (20)03/05/71 - (15)25/05/71 -240 (16)25/05/71 - (14)27/05/71 -560 (15)27/05/71 - (23)31/05/71 -440 (15)03/08/71 - (15)01/09/71 110 (00)01/03/78 - (12)06/07/79 305 (13)06/07/79 - (20)06/08/79 365 (21)06/08/79 - (23)31/12/79 305 Comment : The timing has an uncertainty of about +/- 7 minutes. The daily values agree reasonably well with Cristobal,Panama. The large number of gaps limit the use of this data set. Limon-A is separate from Limon-B because they are not referred to the same datum.
