Trans. : No Distribution : 1937-1948 Refernce Levl: All heights have been referred to the station tide staff zero which is linked to fixed bench marks. This series is independent from 251B (1995-) because confirmation of linkage to a common datum has not been made. These data were digitized at the University of Hawaii Sea Level Center. Tide staff readings were provided; however, it appears the corrections to a fixed datum were already applied to the tabulated heights. In comparison with the holdings of the PSMSL, there were some level differences; thus, this series has been corrected to the PSMSl mean levels. The following periods were adjusted: yyyymmddhh - yyyymmddhh added to original (mm) ----------------------- ---------------------- 1940010100 - 1941062423 -9 1943122300 - 1944120423 -223 1945011000 - 1946040223 -21 1947030600 - 1948123123 -30 Comment : The timing appears to be good throughout with only a few exceptions.
