While standard mechanical or ADR instrument was the primary gauge, leveling calibration factors were applied monthly based on tide staff comparisons. Comment : The hourly residuals are noisy from June 1989 - May 1990 due to the stilling well being not properly configured for surf zone application. Otherwise, the daily and monthly values agree with Key West and Fernandina Beach and do not show any obvious shifts or trends. The monthly plot reveals a consistent annual and semi-annual signal. The extreme peak on 24 Aug 1992 is associated with Hurricane Andrew.
