              Refernce Levl: The data have been linked to tide staff zero       
                             and fixed bench marks by the originators.          
              Comment      : The reference levels for two short segments were   
                             adjusted based on analysis of the hourly residuals 
                             and comparisons of daily values with Abidjan-Digue 
                             and Takoradi: 15Z 30/Jan - 12Z 03/Feb/82 (+9 cm)   
                             and 12Z 13/Feb - 12Z 18/Feb/83 (+5 cm). Otherwise  
                             the daily and monthly means look reasonable with no
                             obvious shifts or trends and agree fairly well with
