              Refernce Levl: The data have been linked to tide staff zero       
                             and fixed bench marks by the originators.
              Comment      : This series is separate from Arrecife-B because
                             of a sharp level shift on 27 Jan 1973.  The
                             daily values agree reasonably well with S.Cruz
                             de la Palma except between Jan-Aug 1960 when
                             Arrecife-A is low by about 10 cm.  However,
                             reference level shifts could not be identified
                             in the hourly residuals of either series.
