JASL Software

Software (FORTRAN) is provided on this CDROM for 1) processing and quality controlling of hourly sea level data, referred to as the SLPR2 package, or NMPR2 in Spanish, and 2) format conversion from the format as provided on the CDROM to either the SLPR2 package format or a generic format as DATE/TIME value (one data value per line). The former is only available for MSDOS operating systems while the later works on MSDOS and Solaris operating systems.

The SLPR2 package utilizes the tidal analysis and prediction routines of the the Institute for Ocean Sciences, Canada (Dr. Mike Foreman) Tidal Package. Other packages are available via GLOSS and PSMSL.
