Sources Areas of the Acapulco- San Marcos, Mexico Earthquakes of 1962 (M 7.1; 7.0) and 1957 (M 7.7), as Constrained by Tsunami and Uplift Records. Geofisica International (2000). Vol. 39, Num. 4, pp. 337-348 Comment : The low values of 28 - 30 Apr 1990 are not evident as a shift in the hourly residuals. Timing errors are evident from 1987-1991, but 1994 is good. There is some suspicion that the reference level for 1994-1995 may not be the same as prior to the gap from 1991-1993. The originators are investigating this issue. Use with caution. Notable episodic events: 04-06 Nov 1952: Tsunami from Kamchatka 09-10 Mar 1957: Tsunami from C. Aleutians 23-25 May 1960: Tsunami from S.C.
